Dear Parents and Community Members,
Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! Whether you are returning to our campus or joining the Rhodes family for the very first time, I am absolutely thrilled to welcome you to what promises to be an incredible year of learning, growth, and community.
This year holds a deeply personal milestone for me. It marks my 6th year as your proud principal and my 20th year serving the Clark County School District. Two decades ago, I packed up and moved here from Michigan, and Las Vegas quickly became the place I am proud to call home.
As always, I am incredibly fortunate to have my own two children here at Rhodes with me again this year—now navigating the fun and milestones of Pre-K and Kindergarten! Experiencing our amazing school both as an administrator and as a parent only deepens my commitment to ensuring every child who walks through our doors feels safe, loved, and inspired.
As we dive into the new year, our school culture remains at the heart of everything we do. As many of you know, I am a proud member of the house of Nukumori (Go House of Kindness!). However, I am always reminded of our core truth: while we love our friendly house competitions, we are 4 Houses, One Rhodes. Our unity, our shared values, and our collective dedication to our students are what make this community so magical.
Warm regards,
Robert Rosenblatt
